2. Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the platform to work and can't be switched off:
- Sign-in session — keeps you logged in securely as you move between pages (set by our authentication provider, Supabase).
- Security — protects forms and payments from abuse.
- Enquiry counting — an anonymous random id in your browser's local storage, so that tapping Call or WhatsApp on the same listing twice counts only once for the business. It does not identify you personally.
3. Analytics cookies
Getlead does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. Business dashboards show profile views counted on our own servers without tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
4. Preference cookies
We may store small preferences, such as a dismissed notice or a remembered choice, so the site works the way you left it. They contain no personal information.
5. How cookies are used
- To keep you signed in and secure.
- To count leads fairly and prevent duplicate or fraudulent activity.
- To remember simple preferences.
We do not use cookies to sell data or to show you ads on other websites.
6. Managing cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site settings). Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and some features — like your dashboard — will not work. Clearing site data also resets the anonymous enquiry-counting id.
